Let’s Talk Wedding NDAs

Don’t sue me for saying it, but NDAs are okay. Confidentiality agreements are becoming more common in the industry and have opened up an important dialogue with clients regarding what they are comfortable with. Weddings aren’t one size fits all and not every couple wants to publicly showcase their celebration. While some people love to relive their day by sharing photos and video montages on social media, a handful of newlyweds prefer to keep things private. Whether it’s because they have a celebrity-filled guest list, are having their wedding published, are in the witness protection program, etc., I don’t ask any questions.

While the weddings themselves are super epic and the photos would look unreal on the gram, I completely respect their wishes and work with each couple to determine what they are comfortable with. Sometimes that means not posting any photos with guests and sometimes it’s signing a full blown NDA. I’m beyond honored that my clients trust me to create an unrivaled experience that will live on in their memories and be talked about by their guests for years to come. The opportunity to be a part of arguably one of the most important days of their lives is enough for me.
