2022: A Year in Review

What a year! Looking back on 2022 with the absolute biggest smile. Thank you to each and every one of you for following along, letting me be a part of your love story, trusting me to create unforgettable memories for your clients, laughing together during industry events, inspiring me to develop my craft and being there for some of the brightest moments of this year. It’s hard to fit 365 days of memories into a highlight reel, but I’ll do my best to pick out some of the big ones:

▪️January: Celebrated one year of adopting our rescue pup, Butch. Carats & Cake featured one of my awesome weddings on their blog and launched my new blog.
▪️February: Released some creative new mixes on my website.
▪️March: Attended the WIPA Southern California kick off event. DJed a wedding with a dance floor over a pool. Toured Georgia wineries with my fiancé.
▪️April: So many spring weddings.
▪️May: Visited Savannah and officially booked our wedding venue.
▪️June: Attended Engage! in New Orleans. Took engagement photos with the super talented Margaret Elizabeth Photography.
▪️July: Took in a stray cat and tried to help get him adopted. Little did we know, Mr. Charles would become part of the family.
▪️August: Brought the saxophone out at some weddings. Took on the Atlanta Wedding Extravaganza and met some cool people.
▪️September: DJed a celeb wedding and explored more of the peach state with a visit to Tybee Island.
▪️October: 100 Layer Cake featured one of our weddings! Met new friends and caught up with awesome pros at Party Slate’s Atlanta event.
▪️November: Moderated a panel at The DJ Collective Official.
▪️December: DJed the Nobu Atlanta opening, B. Worley Productions holiday cocktail club, Atlanta Santa Speedo Run and some corporate events at Four Seasons Atlanta.
