Where Should I Put My DJ?

What’s one thing that couples might not consider to be crucial but is KEY to a successful party? The DJ booth placement. I’m going to say it louder for the people in the back: a floor plan that places the DJ (and speakers) on the edge of the dance floor.

It’s essential that not only are the speakers positioned well for ample volume, but that I can see faces, body language and how enthusiast people are about the music being played. How many bodies are on the dance floor is only a small piece of the pie. When I can read the room, I can identify if the energy is high but burning fast (which cues me to start mixing out and transitioning to a new song). If I’m placed in the corner with a table separating me and the dance floor, I can’t read the crowd well.

While some DJs have bulky, unattractive setups, I offer sleek and modern speakers that perfectly compliment any wedding design. My white speakers are by far one of my most requested items. What do you think about them?
