Can You Book a DJ Before You're Engaged or Pick a Venue?

Does this sound like you? “There’s nothing more important to us than the music at our wedding.” All of my couples are super passionate about music, to the point that their friends describe them as low-key psychotic. While many might think this is an exaggeration, I present to you two recent clients:

▪️Client 1 and her mom reached out to me before the bride-to-be was even engaged to see if we would be a fit and start the process of working together. It was that important to her to make sure I was her DJ. As a single operator, once I am contracted for an event I am unable to accommodate another event. As soon as couples realize this, they are eager to book to secure their desired date.

▪️Client 2 booked me before they even booked their venue! They called to ask if that would be something I was okay with. Since I travel worldwide and they had a date picked out, I didn’t see a problem with it. If you know the city and have a date picked out, you can absolutely book with me if you are still deciding between venues.
